Blessing #142 - (in)couragers

I have had a secret for a few months now.

Wait!

Before you go there, let me just tell you, I am not pregnant!

Anyway, I have kept this secret for a few months, but today I finally get to share it with you all.

Remember when I wrote a post for that awesome blog (in)courage? Well, recently, they announced that in their goal of developing community among women they were starting groups.  Their goal is to be a home for the hearts of women.

(in) Perfect Balance is a Facebook group just for wives who also happen to be mothers of young children. They may even sometimes feel like their marriage has gotten lost in their busy to do list.

Every week we will bring you (in)couragement through fun questions, quotes, and links to our favorite marriage blog post and resources.  On Wednesdays, we will try to look to God's word on topics like love and forgiveness.  Fridays, we will have a weekend challenge.  A quick challenge to try over the weekend.  You can participate in the challenge or not we understand mothers do not need anything else to make them feel guilty.

Thankfully, I am not doing this alone.  My friends Tori and Jamie will be co(in)couragers with me.

Tori has been married to her husband Matt for nine years.  She has three children, Austin (7), Ashley (5), and Jackson (2).  She changed my life forever when she introduced me to Crumpton. She also has an adorable but mischievous dog named Teebo.

Jamie has been married for six years.  She is also a transplanted southerner living in Maryland where her husband serves as worship leader (for my church).  They have 3 boys three and under.

I'll just let that soak in for a minute.

She is a stay at home mom and runs a home daycare.  For her, life is crazy, but life is good.

If you are interested in joining the group you can find it on Facebook by clicking here. The first session runs until December 2.

If (in) Perfect Balance doesn't fit you, but you are interested in other groups for empty nesters, moms, and many other subjects, you can find all the (in)courage groups here.

If you have any trouble joining you can e-mail me at stephlankford@yahoo.com.

Mandi, I see that you already figured it out, but just in case someone else has a question.  Click on this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/226431660815775/  Once you are there look for the button on the right hand side of the page that says "request to join group." Click on that button, and that sends a requests to us to add you to the group.  The group is a closed group.  All that means is anyone can join, but what you say inside the group does not show up in all your friends newsfeeds.

  13. Just received a payment for $500.

Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much money you can earn by taking paid surveys online...

So I took a video of myself getting paid over $500 for taking paid surveys to set the record straight.
